Please Use Your Logic...

Image
When I look at people around me, I wonder why, when they fall in love, it’s seem so hard for them to think rationally. They don’t even seem to care if their partner is a red flag or keeps hurting them. I’ve told them so many times to get out of that toxic relationship, but it’s still so hard for them to get out of it. What the hell is wrong with their mind?  But ironically, I don’t really fit into that pattern, btw. When I fall in love, I actually become... too rational. You could even say I’m so logical that I turn cold. Instead of drowning in emotions or saying soft things that could build intimacy, I put up an analytical layer as a shield. Not because I don’t feel anything — quite the opposite, it’s because I feel too much. But I don’t know how to show it without feeling vulnerable. So I end up choosing the wrong way: disguising feelings as logic. I still remember one moment that was both painfully ironic and strangely funny. There was someone I secretly liked with a depth I...

The Quiet Evolution of Evil

Image
Psychopathy isn’t a virus. It’s a mutation of social function. Some brains are born with chemical patterns that can’t mimic other people’s fear. The part of the brain called the amygdala — where fear and empathy are encoded pulses weaker than normal. There, the moral bell never rings. They can witness suffering and remain calm, not because they’re evil, but because their nervous system simply doesn’t send any signal telling them to stop. But that’s only half the story. The environment is the sculptor that perfects the shape. A child born with such a brain and raised in a world of violence or neglect learns one thing: feelings are unreliable. They learn to imitate reactions, not feel them. They learn that crying is a weak code, and controlling others is a form of survival. That’s how empathy turns into a strategy, not a sensation. Some people with the same neurological foundation grow up in loving families. They don’t become killers — just cold, analytical, detached from emot...

Comparing Evil Dead Rise and Evil Death (2013)

Image
Evil Death Rise tells the story of Ellie, a mother of three : Bridget, Danny, and Kassie who lives in an old apartment. One day, her sister Beth comes to visit. After an earthquake hits, things start to go downhill fast when the Book of the Dead incantation found beneath the apartment is played, the cold and silent place turns red, drenched in screams. The mother becomes possessed, transforming into a Deadite, and begins attacking her own children. Beth must find a way to get her nieces and nephews out before it’s too late. One terrifying event after another, non-stop. It’s pure chaos, no breathing room at all. The mom? Totally insane… creepy as hell. The downside is that it’s "too" scary, like, there’s no break. After a while, it becomes a bit too much, and you kinda get used to. Still scary, but you grow immune to it.  It’s like riding a roller coaster that slowly climbs up, then drops straight down at full speed again and again until it finally stops. That’s it. Because o...

A Satire by One of "In Uetro"

Image
“ Teenage angst has paid off well, now I’m bored and old." "Serve the Servants" was written in 1992. The earliest known version is a home demo, featuring Cobain on vocals and acoustic guitar, recorded on a boombox in 1992. This version was released on the posthumous Nirvana box set, With the Lights Out, in November 2004. That single line is enough to capture the raw, bitter, and deeply human sense of disillusionment in Kurt Cobain. “Serve the Servants” isn't merely the opening track of In Utero —it is a confession, a satire, and a rebellion, all in one breath. And now, we're gonna breakdown this song to see what Cobain was really trying to say.  Song lyrics Teenage angst has paid off well Now I'm bored and old Self-appointed judges judge More than they have sold If she floats then she is not A witch like we had thought A down payment on another One at Salem's lot Serve the servants, oh no Serve the servants, oh no Serve the servants, oh no Serve the se...

" Because you asked me to ," Was the line's Johnny Depp threw at Winona Ryder in Edward Scissorhands (1990) has to be one of the most heartbreakingly beautiful love confessions I’ve ever seen. Johnny plays Edward, a half-finished creation whose fingers are literally giant scissors. Winona plays Kim, the teenage daughter of Peg, a kind-hearted women that found Edward on the secret labs and decides to take him in. They live under the same roof, but Edward is way too shy to even talk to Kim, let alone confess how he feels. Kim already has a boyfriend named Jim — your typical macho jerk who loves bullying Edward every chance he gets. One day, Jim comes up with a sneaky plan. He convinces Kim to help him trick Edward into breaking into an empty house. Of course, it’s a setup, the house actually belongs to Jim himself and is wired with an alarm connected straight to the police. Poor Edward gets caught red-handed and thrown in jail. After he’s released, Edward returns home and...
